Closed-Loop Fault Diagnosis of SDR Using Gap Metric, PCA, and Kalman’s Principle

The measurement of the pressure in gas generator (GG) plays a decisive role closed-loop regulation flow solid ducted rocket ramjet (SDR). Therefore, fault detection and isolation (FDI) sensors is particularly significant. Especially GG with double feedback, there are issues such as less available data sensor transmission, which make FDI more difficult. In this paper, for firstly, “Consistency Index” was constructed based on principal component analysis (PCA) algorithm, made it easier to evaluate consistency measured values. Secondly, Kalman’s principle, redundancy information system used estimate GG. Finally, gap metric between estimated employed characterize health sensors. Compared MWPCA shown that our proposed algorithm accurate diagnosis could avoid problem missing alarm when two had consistent faults, would provide strong support safe operation SDR further promote its application long-endurance aircrafts.
